Hello to all GSMS families!

We hope you are all having sunshine filled days with your most favorite people! Though we are still in June, planning is underway for the start of the 26/27 school year. We will be sharing out updates to you regularly. With that being said, we will share with you that some messages may seem repetitive at times. We recognize that the summer calendars are full and not everyone is reading ParentSquare messages regularly (which is honestly ok....it is summer....) so we will send important information out multiple times so that we stand the best chance of keeping everyone informed. Thank you in advance for your grace and patience.

Back To School Open House Dates

Mark your calendars!

Grade 6 -Tuesday, August 18th/4:00-6:00
Grade 7 - Wednesday, August 19/4:00-6:00
Grade 8 - Thursday, August 20/4:00-6:00
Grade 9 - Information will be coming to you from the high school.

More details to come.

On Monday, August 24th the middle school will be opened from 8:00-4:00 for drop in visits. Learners can use this time to walk their schedule and practice locker combinations so they are comfortable for the first day of school.

Learners' Laptops

As many of you are aware, at the close of the 25/26 school year we did not collect 6th and 7th graders' laptops. While recognizing the need for this decision, we also appreciate your families for keeping your learner's laptops and chargers in a safe location for the summer so devices are ready to start the school year. In the event there is a concern about your child's laptop being in working order, please reach out to me so we can arrange for it to be brought into the school during the summer months and have any repairs addressed. We would prefer these repairs be made sooner rather than later and we anticipate the start of the school year being a busy time for both families and our tech department.
