Definition of Bullying

Bullying is occurring when someone is subjected to negative actions on the part of one or more other persons repeatedly over time, and he or she has difficulty defending him or herself.

The Four Bullying Rules
1. We will not bully others.
2. We will help students who are bullied.
3. We will include students who are left out.
4. If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.

Disciplinary and Other Actions

A student who violates this policy shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action consistent with the Code of Student Conduct, which may include counseling within the school, parental conference, loss of school privileges, transfer to another building, classroom or school bus, exclusion from school-sponsored activities, detention, suspension, expulsion, counseling/therapy outside of school, and/or referral to law enforcement officials.
